Martin Wiese was born on 12/1/1979 in Rinteln/Germany. Since 2007 he is a freelance composer for Film, TV and the media. His musical education started at the early age of 5, when Martin fell in love with the piano. From 2000 to 2007 he studied music and music pedagogics at the „Hochschule für Musik Detmold“ in Detmold/Germany. He is singer (baritone classical, Rock/Pop), pianist and organist. He teaches virtual orchestration, arrangement and pianoaccompaniment/ improvisation at the „Hochschule für Musik Detmold“ and the „Landesmusikakademie NRW“ Since 1997 he released five full-length studio-albums with his fantasymetal- project ENID.
Martins portfolio of projects contains more than 300 entries, among them documentaries, shortfilms, midlength-movies [f.e. „2012“ by director Marcus Overbeck (winner of 2009 Filmfest Lünen/Germany, nominated at the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis 2009) and „Backstage“ (winner of 2010 Filmfest Verden/Germany)], several computer-games and interactive formats [f.e. the IPhone games “Twisted Lines” and “…And then it rained!”, the interactive radio-play „Raumzeit“ (Audigent)] and countless imagefilms and commercials [BilligerMietwagen.de, Thalia, Rhenus, DEKRA, EWE, DTS, BUND, Georg, Pascoe to name a few]. Throughout his work as a composer he has realized projects with renowned orchestras [f.e. Staatsorchester Kassel/Germany]. 2008 he was finalist in the East West Score Contest (USA) and was nominated for the European Talent Award 2009 (Cologne/Germany). Martin runs his own studio in Porta Westfalica/Germany, where he lives and works. He took part in masterclasses by Jeff Rona and Kuno Schmid to name a few.
